Welcome to LoCo CrossFit
CrossFit is a core strength & conditioning program delivering fitness that is broad, general, and inclusive. We incorporate elements of track & field, gymnastics, weightlifting, and strongman in intense daily workouts to maximize results for any individual. CrossFit teaches functional movement patterns. These are movements you find in real life -pushing, pulling, squatting, jumping, throwing, carrying, and sprinting.
At LoCo CrossFit, we take functional fitness to the next level with an added emphasis on strength training for all our members. We utilize conjugate strength training principles designed to develop strength in a safe environment. Strength workouts are incorporated several times per week as part of our regular class program.
When starting your journey at LoCo CrossFit, our philosophy is to gradually introduce you to the CrossFit methodology of technique, then consistency, and finally, intensity. We do not expect anyone to move perfectly nor do we expect anyone to move an unrealistic amount of weight. One size does NOT fit all. Remember, this is a journey we will take with you while teaching you proper movement and technique.
When you first visit LoCo, we will conduct a No-Sweat Intro and discuss what the best option may be for you. We also offer a fitness evaluation for those who have done CrossFit before and would like to test out of the Fundamentals program. We offer personal training, and beginner programs to slowly introduce you to CrossFit. The next step would be graduating to either Classic CrossFit or the LoCo CrossFit programming, which incorporates conjungate strength training methods. For those seeking more advanced training, we have programs to meet your needs and offer individual programming.
